The Black Women-Asian Men (BWAM) movement highlights and encourages interracial relationships and intimacy between members of two social groups suffering from layers of social stigmatization, including notions that they are generally the least desirable inside and outside of their races and ethnicities. As a cultural phenomenon, BWAM involves Black women and Asian men shaking off dating and courtship conventions that isolate them and supporting the exploration of the appeal in each other.

I loved how the relationship between the two characters, despite their instant attraction, still moved rather slowly from that point. Both of them were reluctant to get in an actual relationship, and they each had their own reasons, which made a lot of sense for me. The cultural clash between Regina and Simon’s cultures was also very interesting and added additional challenges for their relationship.

BOOK REVEIW – Loving HER WILDEST DREAMS
I started reading some of the short stories featured in the AMBW romance anthology Shades of AMBW. Check out my video review of one of my favorite stories “Her Wildest Dreams” by Love Journey.
I enjoyed Love Journey’s vampire erotic fiction. Unlike so many stories featuring the paranormal bloodsucker, she made sure that the sensual exchange between the vamp and the human he desired was consensual. There was no “glamming” or “hypnotizing.”
